
Ho studiato grafica a Tel-Aviv, la mia città natale. Poi sono arrivata a Milano – la mia città che adottiva – per studiare architettura al Politecnico. Ma la tridimensionalità non mi ha conquistata come ha fatto la grafica, che è sempre stata la mia passione. Mi sento fortunata di applicarla nel quotidiano.
Orith Kolodny is a former sprinter (she held the Israeli record in the women’s 400 meters for 15 years) and a graphic designer with a sense of humor. She is the author of Past & Present (hélium éditions, 2015) and co-author of a series of children’s books published by La Joie de Lire. Her first book, Tel Aviv, was dedicated to her hometown and received a Bologna Ragazzi Award Special Mention. With Actes Sud she has published 199 Drapeaux, which looks at flags from a design perspective, and Ma Maman et Moi, about the relationship between baby mammals and their moms. Orith lives and works in Milan, Italy.
